Causes of halitosis


Bad breath, also called halitosis, affects numerous people around the world and has a big impact on social life. Bad Breath is actually very normal, although not very pleasant. Halitosis may be caused due to a various reasons. Poor dental hygiene is one causesofhalitosis. Not brushing and flossing your teeth after food regularly will cause excessive amounts of bacteria on the teeth and tongue that release hydrogen and sulfide vapors. More uncommon reasons for bad breath are stomach and intestinal problems, respiratory tract infections, and major body illnesses like diabetes and liver diseases.

The good news is bad breath or halitosis is a really treatable condition. Make sure you brush your teeth regularly. It is also important that clean your tongue, you can use a tongue scrapper to clean the tongue. Parsley also has long been used to freshen breath and neutralize breath odor.
