Latex paint

One of popular paint in the market is latex. It has become the overwhelming favorite of most amateur painters. A good part of latex's popularity is convenience. Latex is water-based paint, so if the paint is drips and spills, all you have to do just wash up with a wet sponge. When you need cleaning the brushes, you can do it with soap and water then followed by a thorough rinse.

Latex paints contain vinyl or acrylic resins, or a combination of the two, as binders. But latex have certain disadvantages because it doesn't spread nearly as well as oil-based paint. That's why we can't use latex paint on trim and doors.
