Carpet vacuuming

Vacuuming is the most important and most cost-efficient way of carpet maintenance. Effective vacuuming preserves the life and appearance of carpet, while keeping the environment cleaner and healthier for building occupants. So it is important to vacuum as often as practical, several times a week if possible. Manufacturers recommend having carpets professionally steam cleaned at least every 18 to 24 months.

If you don't do regularly vacuuming, the dirty residue will be left at the bottom of the carpet piles. When the carpet is dirty, tiny particles of dust and dirt get ground into the carpet and actually cut the fibers. These cuts make the carpet wear out much faster. When vacuuming paying close attention to corners and areas near or under furniture.
